Kawtar Azzouzi is first generation Moroccan artist living in Austin, TX. She graduated in 2015 from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago with a BFA. Her work involve themes of death, lust murder, human taboos, and heartbreak. Attempting to unearth what lies behind our western culture’s obsession with death, she often filters her exploration’s through a satirical lens in hopes of making the subject more accessible.
